This home had already undergone one renovation but was once again extended and completely refurbished to suit new owners. The brief required a glamourous look that was also robust enough for a young family. The 1m x 1m floortiles took some laying, but the effort was worth it. The extensive use of tiles, including two bisazza mosaics created a hardy yet exquisite interior. Careful attention was also given to lighting design and the selection of fittings.
Here are a couple of shots of a Hotel on the Hobart waterfront we refurbished a short while ago. It attracts mostly young people so we wanted a look that was relaxed and casual but also a bit edgy. We used an image from the German Beerfest that we digitally enhanced and applied as wallpaper to create atmosphere and vibe in the dining area. The sports bar was given a facelift with tv’s recessed into timber panelling, and some re-conditioned lights and pool tables.
